Elizabeth M. Sodergren

   Elizabeth M. Sodergren was licensed to practice law by the state of Tennessee in 1986. 

   Ms. Sodergren is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College and received her Juris Doctorate degree from The University of Memphis School of Law in 1986.  She has practiced in all areas of the law including criminal defense, worker's compensation, personal injury, divorce, child support, custody and consumer bankruptcy. 

  Ms. Sodergren is a Tennessee Supreme Court approved Rule 31 Mediator.  Her current practice is devoted solely to Family Mediation  Her interest in mediation began several years ago when she began studying Nonviolent Communication and Neuro-linguistic programing.  In addition, her interest in children has promoted her work as a mediator since the mediation process provides so many advantages for children of divorcing or divorced parents.

Ms. Sodergren speaks to school classes, mediators and civic organizations regarding communication methods which avoid and resolve conflicts.
